Hi, I'm Johann, the instructor behind Drive Logic.

I believe that confident, courteous, and skilled drivers help build safer streets and safer communities. That’s why I became a driving instructor. Teaching people how to drive safely isn't just about passing a test; it's about shaping the kind of drivers we all want to share the road with.

I'm calm, patient, and easy to talk to. Whether you're feeling nervous, excited, or somewhere in between, I’ll meet you where you're at and help you build your skills one step at a time. My goal is to make lessons enjoyable, practical, and something you genuinely look forward to.

This is more than just a job for me. It’s my way of contributing to the neighbourhood. When we have more safe, capable drivers on the road, we all benefit.

I’ve always loved cars and the experience of driving. That passion naturally led me here. I don’t just teach learners how to pass a test, I guide them toward becoming confident, capable drivers for life. It's not only about getting your Ps; it's about giving you the tools and understanding to feel at home behind the wheel in any situation.

I also know a lot about cars, so feel free to ask questions during our lessons. The more you understand how your car works, the more confident and in control you’ll feel on the road.

The name Drive Logic came from my belief that good driving is about more than quick reflexes. It's about awareness, sound decision-making, and understanding the road. There is a logic to safe driving, and I’m here to help you learn it.

Regarding the car I use for lessons, it’s a 2012 Volkswagen Golf MK6 TDI. It’s a reliable, well-maintained vehicle that’s perfect for learning. The Golf offers smooth handling, excellent fuel efficiency, and a comfortable driving experience. It’s equipped with modern safety features that help create a safe learning environment. I chose this car because it’s practical, responsive, and helps build the confidence you need behind the wheel.
